To measure yourself for a hakama: Measure from the top or your obi (belt) to the point you want it to hang to. We recommend the top of your ankle, but please check with you instructor, as this can vary between arts. This is the length measurement for hakama. If you are ordering a 100% cotton hakama, we recommend that you order at least one size larger than you wear to allow for the natural shrinking of cotton.
