This is a marvelous little book. Through beautiful photographs and clear drawings, Sugu Wakaru: Nihon Kachu and Bugu describes and illustrated the design, function, and wearing of of armor in traditional Japan. My favorite section is a series of drawings which illustrate how different types of armor wear put on by the classes that wore them. The photos are very well done, showing excellent levels of detail. If you are interested in Japanese armor and fighting, this a great book to own.
