Kanshu was one of the greatest students of Ueshiba Morihei, having received his 9th dan in 1961 for Ueshiba himself. In this DVD he teaches some of the fundamental techniques of Aikido while asking the question "What is Kyoku Ryoku (Breath Power)." He covers taisabaki, connecting from the wrist, and yokomen movement to start. From there he teaches a variety of techniques while asking his original question.
