Every year on May 3, the All Japan Kendo Federation and the All Japan Naginata Federation sponsor a huge demonstration at the old Budokan in Kyoto. Anyone over the rank of 6th dan or with a renshi license or better can demonstrate, and each year appoximately 1000 people do.
This incredible DVD was filmed at the 39th Taikai and features some of the best iaido practitioners in the world demonstrating their arts, including Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu, Muso Shinden Ryu, Tamiya Ryu and others.
