Shin No Kendo Wo Kiwameru can be translated as Reaching For The Limits Of True Kendo. It is a series created by Si Noriyasu, a student of the legendary Haga Shihan of the Kodansha and Noma Dojos in Tokyo. In this second DVD in the series, Sui Shihan teaches the first two sets of kata of Muso Shinden Ryu Iai, and demonstrates tameshigiri. All of the Omori RYu and Hasegawa Eishin Ryu kata, a total of 22 kata, are taught in depth, many with fully realized bunkai demonstrations so the point of the kata is completely clear. This is a rare chance to see Muso Shinden Ryu as practiced in the lineage of Haga Shihan.
